The Preston Ambassadors regularly offer tours of our building, host a number of social events throughout the semester and assist with other activities in Preston.

Natalie Hungate

Natalie Hungate

Natalie Hungate is a junior International Studies and German double major from Charlotte, North Carolina.  Within Preston Residential College Natalie is a Preston Ambassador and is involved with Preston's service organization Y-IMPACT (Youth Impacting Minds, People, and Communities Together), and Preston’s Literary Magazine Bellwether.  Outside of Preston, she is a member of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women, Delta Phi Alpha (National German Honor Society), Sigma Iota Rho (International Studies Honor Society), is involved with the Methodist Student Network (MSN) where she oversees social media, works for the USC Athletic Department, and plays intramural sports.  Natalie loves to travel and explore new cultures, meet new people, and learn languages.  While at USC, Natalie has studied abroad in Germany and Iceland, along with doing three mission trips to Ecuador, Canada, and Costa Rica.  Every day is a new adventure and she cannot wait to see what it has in store!

Colin Hungerpiller

Colin Hungerpiller is from Hartsville, SC and a Sophomore at USC. Colin is a pre-pharmacy major. In Preston, Colin is involved with the Preston Ambassadors and serve as the 2016-2017 Preston Hall Government Moderator (President). Outside of Preston, Colin is involved with the Carolina Association of Pre-Pharmacy Students and serve in Student Government as a Student Body Senator. Colin is also involved with a leadership position with the Boy Scouts of America. Colin is a fourth generation student at USC and bleed garnet and black. Colin enjoys going to sport events, hanging out with friends, and enjoying good food! Colin really enjoys the community at Preston. Preston is an experience that cannot be fully understood until it is fully experienced. Colin looks forward to the coming year and meeting all of the new residents.

   
Rebecca Moore

Rebecca Moore (Chair)

Rebecca Moore is the 2016-2017 Preston Ambassador Vice Chair. Rebecca is a sophomore Nursing major from Greenville, South Carolina. She is passionate about  her studies and helping others to thrive within Preston. Outside of Preston, she is involved in Shandon Baptist Church and enjoys doing volunteer work. In her free time she likes to go to STROM, TCoop, and other various places around campus. She enjoys playing the piano, crafting, and spending time with friends. Some of her favorite things are ice cream, dogs, traveling, and a good book. She looks forward to helping implement this year and make events fun and interactive for Preston!

   
Elizabeth Thickens

Elizabeth Thickens

Elizabeth is a sophomore Exercise Science major with an emphasis on motor development and Music minor. She is from Rock Hill, SC, and this is her second year living in Preston. During her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as, attending all Gamecock sporting events, going to the gym, playing the piano, and working with children.  In addition to serving as a Preston Ambassador, she is a front desk assistant in Preston and a freshman mentor at Shandon College Ministry.  After graduation, Elizabeth hopes to combine her interest in the medical field and her passion for working with children by attending graduate school to become a child life specialist to help children undergoing major medical procedures and teach them how to cope with life changing illnesses and disabilities. Elizabeth is very excited to see what the new school year holds and make lots of new friends!
