Junior Common Room (JCR)

Junior Common Room (JCR)
The Junior Common Room is a place to relax, socialize, study, play games, or hold meetings. It has big leather couches, a couch designed and owned by F. Scott Fitzgerald’s wife, Zelda, a beautiful library, and board games. .

 
Kitchen

Kitchen
The newly-renovated kitchen on the 1st floor has a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, and cooking utensils. Please be considerate of your other Preston Residential College residents and always clean up after yourself!

 
Preston Lobby

Lobby
The Lobby has lots of special features. We have a working fireplace, comfy couches, a big screen TV, and a piano for residents to play! The lobby is for you and our visitor’s enjoyment, so come sit, relax, chat, or whatever else your heart desires. Please be considerate of noise in the lobby.

 
Art Room

The Art Room is found on the 3rd floor and provides you the opportunity to explore your creative skills and inclinations.

 
Computer Lab

Computer Lab
The computer lab on the 2nd floor is perfect for those times when your computer dies at the worst possible moment. With 3 brand new PCs, you can also bring your laptop.

 
Back Gardens

Back Gardens
Two gardens surround Preston Residential College with flowers, bushes, shrubs, and other exotic plants. The back garden includes a mediation garden dedicated to former Associates Dr. Hal French and Mrs. Margaret Perkins. Hang out anytime in the backyard!

 
Seminar Room

Seminar Room
The Seminar Room serves as the official meeting place for Preston Residential College classes, lectures, and most organization meetings.

 
Study Room

Study Rooms
Study rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors are always open for those times you need to get away to read, write, or study. The study room on the 3rd floor east side is a 24/7 quiet study room. Please be considerate of people occupying these rooms.
